Neuroplasticity through Sensorimotor & Somatic Integration
PulsePlay
For Children & Adults Looking To Do It Differently

What is PulsePlay?
PulsePlay brings together the art and science behind how the body behaves, feels, and moves and does it all through play. Pulseplay provides the frameowrk for accessing the rhythmical and natural oscillatory behaviors of the human body and shows children and adults how to use leverage them to create new ways of moving, faster recovery, and improved tolerance to enviornmental demands.
PulsePlay is designed for children, adults, and professionals, and offers a systematic approach to this new type of body-based learning while weaving both top-down and bottom up approaches together seemlessly. By integrating principles from movement science, growth development, neuroplasticity, fascia science, trauma release, and more, PulsePlay helps to develop a strong foundation in body awareness and sensory-motor behavior that are not only necessary for proper brain-body health but also provide individuals with the know how on how to use throughout devopment span.

How is PulsePlay Different: PulsePlay is one of the first programs to combine a curriculum-based learning model in parelell with a skillfull trial-and-error based experience to finding out what truly works, all taught through play. While many programs focus on either a "top-down" or "bottom-up" approach in isolation, this program integrates both, allowing your natural responses and learning experiences to navigate you through the cirriculum and refine the learning experience as you go. This program is specifically designed to help children and adults better understand the interconnectedness between their sensory and motor behaviors and how to access them for improved brain integration, self-recovery, and healing through doing.

What is The Pulse:
The "Pulse" in PulsePlay refers to the natural biological rhythms that govern our movement and interactions with the environment. We help you experience this and connect directly with these rhythms from the very beginning, so you not only know they exist, but so you leverage and refine your relationship with this natural intelligence throughout the program.
Oscillation and movement are at the heart of all our bodily systems, including the fascial, circulatory, nervous, digestive, muscular, breathing, and cardiovascular systems, as well as many others. Much like a conductor orchestrating a symphony, the goal is not to play each instrument individually, but to help facilitate them in ways that allow them to work together cohesively as one. This is the primary focus and training of Pulse .

Here, you will learn and experience several key techniques and strategies that allow the mind and body to access Pulse. Each component combines use of a particular sensory system and short, easy-to-practice experiences to help you become more familiar with what it means to Pulse. These are some of the areas we focus on helping you learn more about:

-
Oscillatory Movement Behavior
-
Parasympathetic State Shifting
-
Alpha Wave Generation
-
Safety & Self-Regulation
-
Default-Mode Network
-
Breath Work
-
Spontaneous Movements
-
Fascial Unwinding
-
Trauma Release Exercises

The "Play"
The "Play" refers to exactly what it sounds like: you play in a mindful manner while getting to know some of the most effective tools and techniques to help your body move healthier, easier, and feel more ALIVE! In this play-based AND mindful-based approach, we provide you with a top-down and easily digestible model that delivers some of the most effective techniques, methods, and sensory-rich experiences to safely and creatively interact with your body.

Both children and adults love this work becuase this is where we build and share language about how we use our nervous system to interact and respond to things we do to it. We have made it easier than ever by putting together a systematic A-Z library that provides a foundational understanding of not only how to use these tools most effectively on your body, but ways to explore and sense the subtle differences they all have in common. Similar to instruments having a different tone or color to them that makes them have a unique sound, the same exists in the body world and can be played with.

Some of the components we include:

-
Body Mapping Techniques
-
A-Z Sensory and Movement Library
-
Primitive Reflexes
-
Interoception Enhancement Strategies
-
Manual & Physical Therapy Techniques
-
Environmental Feedback
-
Neurodevelopmental Sequencing

The PulsePlay:
Finally, we land in PulsePlay together, where we recombine what you’ve developed from both Pulse and Play to create new and exciting ways to work with your body. Where you have spent your time acquiring information and learning your body’s preferences, this is where you will access deeper areas of creativity and also develop unique relationships with games and play.

We have created specific frameworks and experiences that help take what you’ve previously learned and use it in very new ways—all, of course, created by you. We help you push back the guardrails a little farther and guide your nervous system in ways that allow it to work more collaboratively and accurately in both sympathetic and parasympathetic states, refining its organization and sensory-movement processing. Through this process, you will become more energy-efficient and develop greater movement and sensory variability as your body and mind move beyond the familiarity of what you’ve initially developed.

We will help you create and extract even more lessons through the games you’re creating, some of which may be new to this world but meant for you. This is where you become the teacher to yourself. Of course, we are here to guide you, but we are also listening to what you’ve found to be yet another ultimate truth in the world. Here is where science and art can be in harmony with one another.
