What is TRE? While most of us have been told that shaking and tremoring are signs of symptoms of something wrong, stress, fear, nervousness, anxiety, panic, or PTSD, this natural recovery reflex can also be used as a solution when used in conjunction with already well established training models and methods.  This easy to learn automatic self-care technique exists in all mammals and humans and is a intuitive processes (amongst several others we now know of) that helps the body interact with the unconscious neuromuscular and fascial system associated with unresolved stress, tension, and trauma.

TRE teaches your patients and clients a simple technique that can immediately be use to unlock the health benefits associated with interacting with the body's spontaneous movements through a natural neurogenic tremoring process.  These movements your body creates are generated by the nervous system's reflex system and can be used directly to support and help down-regulation of the autonomic nervous system that together allow your training, interventions, and treatments to be more well received and effective.  TRE helps with this reorganizing in a "bottom-up" fashion and as a result works at the level of subconscious.  This offers you an effective tool for helping to addressing deeper underlying problems that can sometimes interfere with treatment and program effectiveness or that can be hard to get to with using only conventional approaches or talk therapy.  TRE can be used as a stand alone or as a complementary tool that turns any practice approach into one that addresses the body and mind as a whole.   With the rise in stress, anxiety, and demands on the body's autonomic nervous system in today's medical and health field, TRE can be a helpful tool that can help benefit you and those that you serve better.

Why TRE Works:   TRE can be taught to individuals or small or large groups and used in almost any combination of practice that supports well-being and can have substantial and powerful effects with just a couple minutes of use.  It is easy to use, requires no thinking, and only minimal physical effort making it highly accessible.  The spontaneous movements generated with TRE often help create a releasing of stored subconscious energy in the form of movement and this results in not just a calming effect on the body, but also the mind.  In addition, it helps identify and address chronic muscular and fascial tension, enhances recovery and sleep, reduces anxiety, and improves mental clarity and thought processing.  TRE can also help your clients improve self-management and functioning in stressful/challenging situations as well as when under pressure due to it's accessibility to "flow states" and helps overall with self-regulation and stress management.

TRE can also be taught to individuals who are appropriate as well as small and large groups and promotes a cohesiveness and openness between participants and can be a helpful tool for dispute resolution.  Because it is based on natural physiological responses shared by all human begins, it is a wonderful tool that promotes connection through each individuals own unique practice when together.
